Cowshed
History
The naturally-based bath and body products were originally formulated for the Cowshed Spa at Babington House. Handmade with the finest ingredients, the first products were used during treatments at the spa and in the House’s rooms for guests to enjoy.
The range takes its name from the location of the spa, in what was once a working Cowshed at Babington House.
Inspiration came close to home: an infusion of herbs hand-picked from Babington House’s Victorian walled garden, blended with essential oils sourced from around the world, giving each formula Cowshed’s delicate yet distinctive signature fragrance.

Cowshed now has over 40 products in the range and is stocked in over 100 stores around the world. There are 2 Cowshed shops in London, both offering the full range of products; this is in addition to the stand-alone spa – Cowshed Clarendon Cross, which also features a cafe serving home cooked food and shop.
In addition to Cowshed Clarendon Cross and Babington House, there are further spas at Soho House New York, Shoreditch House (East London), The Scotsman Hotel (Edinburgh), The Virgin Clubhouse at Heathrow and the St. Moritz Hotel (Cornwall).
